Sam Yates and Jonathan Powell

Jonathan is a Lloyd’s market veteran with over 30 years’ experience. He was most recently at Hiscox, where his key focus was North American binders.

Sam has spent over 10 years focused on property underwriting and will be responsible for expanding Neon’s open market property direct and facultative (D&F) business in London.

Robert Bredahl

Third Point Reinsurance Ltd. has announced that John Berger, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, will be stepping down as CEO effective March 1, 2017.  Mr. Berger will retain an active role in the Company. He will remain Chairman of the Board and Chairman of the Underwriting Committee.  Robert Bredahl, currently President and Chief Operating Officer, will succeed Mr. Berger as CEO of TPRE on March 1, 2017.

Annja Karlsson and Daniel Kns

JLT Re recently added a new Head of its P&C reinsurance business for the Nordics last year, hiring Anna-Karin Toresson. These new hires build on this as it targets growing its brokerage business in the region.

Annja Karlsson joins JLT Re as a broker, coming from Guy Carpenter.

Daniel Knös joins JLT Re as an actuarial analyst from Länsförsäkringar, where he gained experience as part of the outwards reinsurance buying team and inwards reinsurance department.

Krester Krger Kjr

Skuld has announced the appointment of Krester Krøger Kjær as head of Skuld Copenhagen. Krøger Kjær succeeds Helle Lehmann who, after eight years in the role, has decided to step down and pursue new opportunities.

Navigators Holdings (UK) Ltd.,has announced that David J. Draper has joined the company as Head of International Casualty.

With 30 years of underwriting, broker and client development experience in UK and international casualty insurance, Mr. Draper is responsible for developing and executing a strategic vision for Navigators' international casualty business outside of the United States.  He is focused on driving growth in Europe, including in the UK, and in Asia. Mr. Draper reports to Colin D. Sprott, Chief Underwriting Officer, Navigators International, and is based in the company's London office.
