HCI Group has appointed finance veteran Mark Harmsworth as its senior vice president of finance.Harmsworth has 30 years of experience in a diverse range of finance and operational roles, having held multiple executive-level positions during his career at both publicly and privately held companies.Paresh Patel, HCI Group’s chairman and chief executive officer, commented; “Mark’s comprehensive experience and effective leadership in the financial services, real estate, and technology industries make him an outstanding fit for HCI’s diverse business enterprises.

Conrad D. Brooks

AXIS Capital Holdings Limited has announced that Conrad D. Brooks has been promoted to General Counsel, effective Jan. 1, 2017. Mr. Brooks, who advances from the position of Executive Vice President, Corporate General Counsel, will report directly to Albert Benchimol, President and CEO of AXIS Capital, and will be a member of the Company’s Executive Committee. In his new role, Mr. Brooks will have global oversight of legal, compliance and regulatory operations across all AXIS offices.

Tim Foy

Beazley, has added Tim Foy as an embedded environmental underwriter in its Beazley Product Solutions focus group. Mr Foy will work out of the company's Philadelphia office underwriting environmental and other coverages for insurance company clients.

James Nash

Guy Carpenter has announced the appointment of long-time employee James Nash to the role of President, in a newly created International division, subject to regulatory approval.

Nash, who has been with Guy Carpenter since 1985 and currently leads its Asia Pacific operations, will head up a unit covering all of the reinsurance brokers operations in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), Latin America and Caribbean, and Asia Pacific.

Generali has appointed Marco Sesana as Country Manager of Italy. He will also retain the position of Chief Executive Officer of Generali Italia

The Board of Directors has also appointed Timothy Ryan as new Group Chief Investment Officer (CIO), starting from 9 January 2017

Michael Consedine

Michael F. Consedine has been named Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC), effective in early 2017.

Consedine will lead the NAIC's Washington, D.C. office with primary responsibility over state and federal government affairs and international activities. He will work closely with NAIC members.

Neon have announced the appoitments of Tom Hulst and Gavin Hunter as non executive directors of Neon's Brmuda operations with immediate effect.

Mr Thiti Musuwan

Coface has appointed Mr Thiti Musuwan as Country Manager of Coface in Thailand effective from 1 December.

Mr Musuwan will manage the operations and develop Coface’s credit insurance and credit management services in Thailand.

Jonathan (Jon) Gale and Rob Littlemore

XL Catlin’s reinsurance operations today announced two key leadership appointments, both effective January 2017.

Jonathan (Jon) Gale, currently Chief Executive London Reinsurance, will take over as Chief Executive Bermuda Reinsurance subject to Bermuda Immigration approval, while Rob Littlemore, currently Underwriting Director London Reinsurance, is being promoted to Chief Executive London Reinsurance. Both will report to Charles Cooper, currently Chief Executive Bermuda Reinsurance, who will become Chief Executive of XL Catlin’s Reinsurance business group as of January 1, 2017.
