Lancashire Holdings Limited  has today announced that Jon Barnes will be joining Cathedral Underwriting Limited (“Cathedral”) to lead the underwriting of property treaty reinsurance business for Syndicate 2010. Jon Barnes has over 25 years of experience in the Lloyd's market, most recently as deputy active underwriter at Syndicate 2121 where he has been an underwriter since its foundation in 1999. Jon will also lead on reinsurance structuring and purchasing for Syndicates 2010 and 3010 and assist with reinsurance coverage for the wider Lancashire group.

Paul has over 40 years of experience in the Lloyd's market, most recently at Syndicate 4444.

Board appointments at Miller

Miller Insurance Services LLP (Miller) is pleased to announce the following appointments and changes to its Partnership Board and sub committees in support of its continued growth.

From 1 July 2016, Greg Collins will be appointed Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Ben Speers will be appointed to the Board as Chief Operating Officer. Ken MacDonald will also be appointed to the Board with continued responsibility for Miller’s Property & Casualty business unit and in addition, will serve as a member of the Audit Committee. Jonathan Fussell is also appointed Partnership Secretary from this date forward. These changes are subject to regulatory approval.

Miller is also pleased to announce that in 2017 it is the Board’s intention to appoint Greg Collins as Chief Executive Officer. Concurrently, Nicholas Lyons will step down as Non-Executive Chairman of the LLP with Graham Clarke assuming this role (subject to regulatory approval).
